This is me, Bob Rehak. I started this blog to document the impacts of media on different aspects of contemporary life. If the tone of this blog sounds academic, perhaps that’s because I did a stint as a professor of advertising in the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University early in my career. I also worked for major advertising agencies in Chicago, Dallas and Houston before starting my own in 1994. Before retiring, Rehak Creative Services worked for major clients throughout the U.S. and Canada. During my 45 years in communications, I have been an avid student of how media color perceptions and influence behavior – in good ways and bad. All references to research and other people’s opinions are attributed so that readers may track them back to their original sources. If your work is quoted here and you wish to have it removed, please contact me at brehak@rehak.com, and I will remove it promptly.
